Well the 2018 Los Angeles Street League Skateboard contest series came to a close and we have a new comer taking the win and the top spot.
Japanese Skateboarder Yuto Harigome Came to LA about 1 year ago and has been Crushing the skateboard scene ever since. Its no surprise the he took 1st place this past weekend in the SLS LA stop. With Nijah Huston coming off an Injury the top spot was ripe for the picking.
He has been crushing the global contest scene ripping the streets and parks all over the place. He will soon be a household name just like Paul Rodriguez, Greg Lutzga and Tony Hawk. Watch some of his amazing footage here.
Skateboarding has really been elevated over the years. There are so many kids taking the sport to new heights and levels the bar is constantly being raised. The Street League Contest Series has been great for bringing the sport to the masses but we still need to get more kids out there skating.
Also we are wishing Zion Wirght a speedy recovery as he took a hard slam during the finals and was un able to finish. I watched him come up on the 1st season of the camp wooodward show and I knew he was going to be something special. Sending Prayers and Well wishes your way Zion!!
